Clean your cat’s ears monthly to prevent infections. Choose a vet-recommended ear cleaner, squirt a small amount into the ear canal, and gently massage the base for 30 seconds. Let your cat shake their head to dislodge dirt, then wipe the outer ear with a cotton ball. Never use cotton swabs deep inside the ear—this can damage the eardrum.
